What are cookies

Last updated: 17 June 2026

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner.

We also use similar technologies that serve comparable purposes, such as tracking pixels (small invisible images used to measure activity) and local storage in your browser (which lets a site keep information on your device). In this policy, we refer to all of these together as "cookies".

Note: This policy is provided as a starting template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication. The exact cookie names and lifespans set by third-party tools can change over time.

Types of cookies we use

We group the cookies we use into five categories:

  • Strictly necessary (always on): these are needed for the website to function, for example to keep items in your cart, secure the site, and process checkout. They cannot be switched off, and they do not require your consent.
  • Functional and preferences: these remember choices you make, such as your language or region, so we can offer a more personalised experience.
  • Analytics and performance: these help us understand how visitors use our site, so we can measure performance and improve it.
  • Marketing and advertising: these are used to deliver relevant advertising, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and limit how often you see an ad.
  • Email marketing: these help us recognise subscribers and personalise our emails and on-site sign-up.

The table below gives examples of the cookies in each category and whether they require your consent. The exact cookies in use may change over time.

How to control cookies

In addition to our cookie banner, you can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view the cookies stored on your device, delete them, and block some or all cookies. The steps differ by browser, so please refer to your browser's help pages.

You can also use the privacy settings offered by third-party platforms, such as Google, Meta and TikTok, to manage advertising and tracking on their services.

Please note that blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. For example, if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site such as the cart and checkout may not function properly.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by our partners rather than directly by us. These include our e-commerce platform (Shopify), our payment providers, Google Analytics 4 (analytics), Klaviyo (email marketing), and our advertising partners Meta, Google and TikTok. These third parties may use cookies and pixels to provide their services and to measure and target advertising.

For more detail about how we and our partners handle your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

US privacy choices

If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comparable privacy law, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Some advertising cookies may involve this kind of activity.

You can exercise this choice by adjusting your cookie preferences and by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option. Where required by applicable law, we also honour recognised browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). For more detail about these rights and how to exercise them, please see our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
